There are a number of places to buy nootropics online. Some of them have great reputations for offering exceptional products, great prices, and fast shipping. Others, not so much.
The company we're going to take a look at today definitely falls into the first category. Bulk Supplements offers an impressive variety of high-quality products, fast shipping, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service.
But before we get to our Bulk Supplements review, let's first take a look at his company, their products, and some other information.
What Is Bulk Supplements?
Bulk Supplements is a company that was formed in Henderson, Nevada back in 2013. That's a whole year before The Nootropics Zone was created – and we were the first nootropic-related website on the web. So that tells you this company have been offering high-quality nootropic products long before they started to become popular.
Speaking of products, Bulk Supplements sells over 400 nutritional supplement ingredients to hundreds of thousands of consumers as well as to other manufacturers. And their selection of products isn't limited only to nootropics. Bulk Supplements offers products in a variety of categories including health & fitness, bone health, immune support, and several others. Their FDA-registered facility employs over 60 people full time, creating jobs in their local economy.
Now, before we get to our Bulk Supplements review, let's break this company down in to several categories and look at them all individually.
Bulk Supplements Website
Overall, the Bulk Supplements website is very easy to use. It's well designed, easy to navigate, and packed with all the information you could want about the company, their products, and everything else.
On the main page, there is a drop-down menu of all their products, making it easy to find whatever you're looking for. They're organized into the following generalized groups: Products A-Z (all products), Products by Category, Sports & Fitness, Vitamins & Minerals, and Herbal Supplements. From there, the products are organized even further, so you can easily find what you're looking for.
For example, if you're looking for their nootropic products, just hover over Products by Category. Below you'll see a number of categories, including Brain & Memory and Mood Support. By clicking on those you'll find many of the popular nootropics we write about here at The Nootropics Zone.
At the bottom of the Bulk Supplements website, you'll find all the other information you may need about the company, their products, and their policies. Their About section gives some info about the company, as well as their shipping, refund, and privacy policies. And under Customer Service, you'll find even more information about returns, tracking, how to contact them, and a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) under Knowledge Base.
All things considered, the Bulk Supplements website is great. You shouldn't have any trouble finding the products and information you're looking for. Next, before we get to our Bulk Supplements review, let's see what products they offer as well as payment and shipping options.
Products/Prices
One of the many attractive things about Bulk Supplements is their vast selection of products. If you click Products A-Z on the main page, it brings you to an alphabetized list of everything they offer. To give you an idea of just how wide their selection is, Bulk Supplements offers 24 products that start with the letter A, 39 that start with B, and 53 that start with C. Overall, they sell hundreds of supplements.
While Bulk Supplements does offer a wide variety of products in a number of different categories, we're here to talk about nootropics. And they sell a number of popular, safe, and effective nootropics that include (but are not limited to) the following:
- N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)
- L-Theanine
- Mucuna Pruriens
- 5-HTP
- Fish Oil
- Alpha-GPC
- Ginkgo Biloba
- Rhodiola Rosea
- Ashwagandha
- Cordyceps
- Various Vitamins & Minerals
When I first discovered Bulk Supplements years ago, the only products they offered were powders. Now, in addition to all the powdered supplements they sell, Bulk Supplements also offers some products as capsules and softgels.
Something I absolutely love about Bulk Supplements is that you can request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from them for whatever you ordered. A COA tells you exactly what something contains. They test every batch of their products and are incredibly transparent about the process. If only all supplement suppliers were this honest, the world would be a much better and safer place.
Compared to other nootropic and supplement vendors, Bulk Supplement's prices are very reasonable. Most of their products cost around the same amount as that of their competitors. Sometimes they even offer discount codes for additional savings. Between their products and their prices, Bulk Supplements is an excellent place to shop for nootropics and other supplements.
Payment Options
Bulk Supplements offers a few different payment methods. First, you can pay by using a credit or debit card. They accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Second, you can also checkout by using PayPal. This is often my preferred payment method since it's so fast and easy. Lastly, you can order from Bulk Supplements by using a money order. All of their shipping information is easy to find on their website under Knowledge Base.
Shipping/Tracking
Bulk Supplements ships from their warehouse located Henderson, Nevada. That means your package should arrive in a timely fashion in ordering from the United States. But if you live outside of the U.S. and want to place an order, don't worry: Bulk Supplements ships all over the world. The website lists over 20 countries they ship to including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, German, France, and many others.
All orders are usually processed withing 24-48 hours. They ship either the same day the order was placed or the day after if it was placed later in the day. As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll get a confirmation email as well as a tracking number. You can check the status of your order by clicking the My Orders tab in your account on their website. Bulk Supplements ships using the United States Postal Service (USPS), FedEx, and UPS.

Now that we've gone over this company's products, prices, website, and shipping info, we can finally get to our Bulk Supplements review.
Bulk Supplements Review
I first heard about Bulk Supplements years ago. I forget what the product was, but it was something they had that I couldn't find anywhere else. It might've been N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (NALT), but I'm not 100% sure. Whatever it was, I ordered the product from their website and remember being very happy with my purchase.
Since then, I've ordered from Bulk Supplements a number of times. If I'm looking for a nootropic (or any substance for that matter) in powder form, they're one of the first places I look. That's because I trust the purity and potency of Bulk Supplements' products – but not blindly. You can request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from the company to show you the lab results of the testing performed on whatever products you buy. That's something very few companies offer. Bulk Supplements' transparency goes a long way with me.
It'd been well-over a year since the last time I ordered from this company. Before I started writing this Bulk Supplements review, I wanted to place a more-recent order to make sure they're still as great as I remembered them. I'm happy to report that I wasn't disappointed.
The first thing I did, of course, was go to the Bulk Supplements website. I spent a lot of time browsing through their products because, well, there are a lot of them. Everything was well organized and easy to find. By the time I was done browsing, I had four items in my shopping cart:
- N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) powder
- Creatine Monohydrate powder
- Omega 3-6-9 softgels
- Empty capsules (size 00, 300 vegetarian capsules)
These are all products I've used before. NAC is something I use from time to time for its nootropic properties. Creatine monohydrate I've been taking daily for years for its fitness benefits, though I've read it may also have some mild nootropic ones as well. Perhaps I'll write an article for The Nootropics Zone about it someday. I'd never used Bulk Supplements brand creatine and wanted to try it. The omega 3-6-9 softgels I ordered because I've never ordered any of Bulk Supplements' capsules or softgels before and wanted to give them a try. And lastly, I ordered the empty capsules because I'm running low and like to always have some on hand. That way I can make my own nootropic capsules from the powders I have.
The checkout process on the Bulk Supplements website was very easy to use. Though I'd always used PayPal to order from them in the past, this time I paid using my travel rewards Visa card. I wanted to make sure the card went through with no problem and it did. Unfortunately, my order came out to just under $49 (less than a dollar short), so I didn't quite qualify for free shipping. Since it would've cost me $7.95 to ship, I looked for another item to order that cost less than that. Ultimately, I ended up doubling the amount of size-00 empty capsules I ordered, going from 300 to 600 capsules. That put me a few dollars over the $49 threshold so I was able to get free shipping.
As soon as my order was processed and shipped, I got an email from Bulk Supplements with my tracking information. I'd placed my order in the evening and got the email the following day. Since I used the free shipping option, the original estimate of arrival was between 5-7 days. However, after just four days, my package was delivered to my doorstep by the USPS.
Everything I'd ordered was in the package and appeared as it should've. Also included was a invoice listing the products and some promotional materials. I still had some leftover creatine and omega 3 softgels from other brands to use up before I'd open the ones from Bulk Supplements. But I'd been out of NAC for a while. So I decided to open and try the NAC that'd just arrived as part of my order.
I took ½ teaspoon of the NAC powder – about 1,400 mg. I've always had good results with NAC in the 1,200-1,800 mg range. The effects are subtle, but noticeable. And sure enough, after maybe an hour, the focused, clear-headed feeling I usually get from NAC hit me. I ended up getting a ton of work done that day. There was no doubt in my mind that I'd received exactly what I'd ordered: pure N-acetylcysteine powder.
I didn't request any Certificates of Analyses from Bulk Supplements with this order. I have in the past and they've always shown their products to be of the utmost purity. Basically, I've used enough of their products in the past to trust them. But whenever I order from a new supplier, I always like to get their products tested to make sure I'm getting what I pay for.
All things considered, I was very happy with my order – just like all the orders I've placed with them in the past. As someone who always tries to focus on the positive (without ignoring the negative), it's been an absolute pleasure writing this Bulk Supplements review. This company certainly has a lot of positive attributes. If you're looking to buy nootropics online, especially in powder form, Bulk Supplements is an excellent option. Highly recommended.
Conclusion
Bulk Supplements has an impressive variety of high-quality products, reasonable prices, fast shipping (if you're in the U.S.), and excellent customer service.
