I've been reviewing nootropic vendors for years now. It really takes a lot to impress me. And, as time goes on, fewer and fewer companies do. But I'm happy to report in this Botany.bio review that this company has done exactly that.
Botany.bio has an awesome selection of high-quality, independently tested nootropics and other products. They offer everything from l-theanine to broad-spectrum CBD oils. And many of their products are hard to find anywhere else.
In this Botany.bio review, I'm going to tell you all about this company, their products, prices, shipping policy, discounts, and a whole lot more. But first, let's take a look at who this company is and what they're all about.
What Is Botany.bio?
Botany.bio is a company that offers a wide selection of products including a number of nootropics. They have an impressive list of products to choose from that are all rigorously tested for quality. While Botany.bio is still relatively new compared to some of the other online nootropic vendors out there, they've already established themselves as a serious contender in the world of nootropics and other supplements.
Botany Biosciences, the company's official name, have an office in the United States. They're located in California and are open from 9AM-5PM, Monday through Friday. The Botany.bio website even has a number you can call during working hours if you need any sort of assistance.
Now, before we get to our Botany Biosciences review, let's take an in-depth look at the specifics of this company.
Botany.bio Website
The Botany.bio website is incredibly easy to navigate. You should have no problem finding all the products and information you're looking for.
For a list of Botany.bio's products, click Benefits in the menu at the top of the website. You'll find dozens and dozens of products organized by what they're used for. The categories include:
- Anti-Inflammatory
- Brain/Nerves
- Energy
- Fitness
- GI Support
- Healthy Aging
- Immune Support
- Mood
- Pain Management
- Skin/Hair
- Sleep
- Stress
Most of the nootropic products that Botany.bio offers can be found under Brain/Nerves. But they also have an impressive selection of other items like various CBD products, popular antioxidants like resveratrol, and many others.
You'll also be easily able to find all the information you want about Botany.bio, their products, policies, company, and more on their website. Between the menu at the top of the page and the one at the bottom, there's a wealth of information for you to explore.
If for some reason you don't find whatever info you're looking for on the Botany.bio website, you can contact them directly. Under the Help & Support menu at the bottom of the page, just click Email Us to ask any questions you many have. But make sure you read their FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) first. The FAQ answers dozens of commonly asked questions.
And lastly, under Why Us in the top menu, click on Quality Control to learn all about how Botany.bio tests their products to make sure you, the customer, is getting exactly what you pay for. A lot of nootropic vendors don't do this when they really should. Botany.bio tells you everything you need to know about their quality assurance program.
Products/Prices
Botany.bio has a wonderful selection of nootropics, health supplements, and other products. Their prices are very reasonable and on par with other supplement companies. Here are just some of the nootropics they offer:
- Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALCAR)
- Agmatine Sulfate
- Alpha-GPC
- CDP-Choline
- Huperzine A
- L-Theanine
- N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC)
- N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT)
- Rhodiola Rosea
- Theacrine
- Uridine Monophosphate
- Vincamine (Vinpocetine)
These are some of the more-common nootropics that Botany.bio offers. They also have a number of lesser-known nootropics as well. But they don't just sell noots. Botany.bio also sells plenty of other substances.
One of them is cannabidiol (CBD). CBD is a non-psychoactive substance found in the cannabis plant that thousands (maybe millions) of people use for anxiety, sleep, pain, relaxation, and more. While CBD is generally not thought of as a nootropic, some people report that it actually does improve overall cognition and productivity. Botany.bio offers a number of different CBD products including:
- CBD DistEx Oil (Broad Spectrum)
- CBD DistEx Oil (Full Spectrum)
- CBD IsoEx Oil
- CBD Isolate Powder
- CBD NonEx Oil (Full Spectrum)
- CBDV + CBD Oil
I won't go into the differences between these products, but you can learn more about them on the Botany.bio website. Just type “CBD” into the search bar at the top or go to the FAQ and you'll find tons of useful information about what these products are, how they work, and how they differ from each other.
All things considered, the Botany.bio website is extremely easy to use. You should have no problem finding all the products and information you're looking for.

The second way to save 10% on orders from Botany.bio is just for you, Nootropics Zone readers. Once you've added the items you want to your cart and are checking out, you'll see a place to enter a coupon code. To get 10% off your order, enter the coupon code nootropicszone10.
Payment Options
When ordering from Botany.bio, you have a few different payment options. Unfortunately, they are unable to accept PayPal at this time. However, they are able to accept most credit and debit cards.
Botany.bio uses a company called Square to process their credit-and-debit-card payments. This is a well-respected company with a proven track record of supplying businesses with safe-and-secure payments and protecting their users' financial data. You've probably made online purchases using Square in the past without even realizing it. I've used them several times without any problems.
Another payment option when ordering from Botany.bio is to do a direct bank transfer. For this method, they use another well-respected-and-secure company: GM Financial. When ordering with a bank transfer, the payment comes directly from your checking (or other banking) account. The only downside to this method is that it can take up to 5 days for the payment to go through.
The last payment method (and the one I always use) is cryptocurrency. You can pay for your order from Botany.bio by using one of two cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). If you're not familiar with what cryptocurrencies are or how they work, the Botany.bio website has a great guide that tells you everything you need to know. You can find it here: Beginner's Guide To Bitcoin.
Shipping
In addition to offering domestic shipping to the United States, they also offer international shipping worldwide. Botany.bio's orders ship from the central coast of California. So, if you live within the continental United States, you can probably expect your package to arrive within a few business days. If you live in California or a neighboring state, you could get your package in as little as 1-2 days.
Botany.bio offers free USPS (United States Postal Service) First Class shipping on all orders within the United States. Orders sent using USPS First Class shipping have an average transit time of 2-8 business days. For US orders over $100, they offer free USPS Priority Mail which usually has a transit time of 2-4 business days. Botany Biosciences also offers the following paid shipping methods:
- Priority Mail – 2-4 days
- Priority Express – 2-3 days
- UPS (United Parcel Service) Ground – 3-6 days
- FedEx (Federal Express) Ground – 3-6 days
Botany.bio also ships to countries all over the world. Of course, delivery times will vary by location. International orders over $300 are eligible for free USPS First Class Mail International. Here are the estimated delivery times for the different international shipping options:
- USPS First Class International – 1-6 weeks

Tracking
Orders from Botany Biosciences placed before 3PM Pacific Time (PST) usually ship the same day. Orders placed after 3PM will ship the following business day. Then, within 1-3 business days, Botany.bio will send you the tracking number for your order.
Packaging
Botany.bio sends out all their orders in discreet packaging. They value their customers' privacy and make sure no one knows what's inside your package except you and them – no one else. It doesn't say anything about Botany Biosciences or Botany.bio on the packaging, nor does it say anything about what's inside.
All orders are shipped in nondescript packaging. They use USPS flat rate packaging, plain padded envelops, and plain mailer boxes. You can trust that your order will be shipped to you discretely.
Now that we've taken a look at this company, some of their products and prices, ordering information, their website, and a lot more, we can finally get to the Botany Biosciences review.
Botany.bio Review
As a general rule, I only like to review companies and products that I trust and have a lot of positive things to say about. With so many shady supplement companies out there, I could review a different bad company every other day and never run out of new ones to write about. But I prefer to tell you about the good companies, the ones I personally use and trust. Botany.bio is one such company.
That's why I'm pleased to write this Botany Biosciences review. I'm familiar with their products and have nothing but good things to say about them. So let me tell you about my experience with this company and their products in this Botany.bio review.
When I went on the Botany.bio website for the first time, I noticed it looked an awful lot like the Science.bio website (you can read my Science.bio review here). Even the domain names are similar: they both have .bio at the end. And then, when I began looking at their products, the Botany logo on their labeling looked strangely familiar. It looked so familiar that I began digging through one of the many boxes of nootropics I have sitting around. Sure enough, I found two Botany.bio products: alpha-GPC and l-theanine powders.
I was so impressed with my initial order from Science.bio back in January that I've placed several more since. Two of the products I'd ordered are the ones mentioned above. I noticed that the labels said Botany on them instead of Science like all the others, but didn't really think much of it at the time. They were of the same exceptional quality and worked just fine, so it didn't seem to matter.
But now, I think I understand what's going on. It looks like the good people at Science.bio launched another company that sells mostly plant-based supplements. In other words, botanicals. Even though I already knew that Botany Biosciences' products, at least their l-theanine and alpha-GPC, were good, I'd never ordered from the Botany.bio website directly. So that's what I decided to do before writing this review of Botany Biosciences.
The Botany.bio website was extremely easy to navigate. I found all the information and products I was looking for in no time. While they definitely have a lot of products I've never tried but would like to in the future at some point, I decided to order two things I've used before: agmatine and cannabidiol (CBD). I ordered the agmatine because I was almost out and always like to have some on hand. And while I'd used CBD products before, I'd never used CBD powder and was curious to try it.
I added the agmatine sulfate and the CBD isolate (THC free) powder to my cart and began the checkout process. It was super easy. I put in my address and other info, chose free USPS First Class shipping, and selected Bitcoin (BTC) as my payment method. This is where I would've put in my coupon code if I'd had one. At the time, I didn't. But you do. Enter the coupon code nootropicszone10 to get 10% off your order.
I should also note that Botany.bio offers optional shipping protection from a shipping insurance company called Route. I'm not sure if the cost is the same for all orders of if it depends on how much you're spending, but the Route shipping protection offered to me cost $0.98. While very reasonably priced, I declined it. Botany Biosciences has a very reasonable refund, return, and exchange program and I didn't think it was necessary.
Just 4 days after I placed my order, my package arrived in the mail. As promised, the packaging was discreet and it didn't say anything about botanicals, supplements, nootropics, or anything else. Also as promised were the two products I'd ordered with a printed invoice. The agmatine I didn't open since I still have some left from the last batch I ordered. But the CBD powder I was eager to try.
While I've definitely found cannabis and THC products to have a wide variety of positive effects ranging from increased creativity to reduced stress, I've never gotten much out of CBD-only products. At most, they provide me with a slight decrease in anxiety, but that's about it. I wasn't expecting much from the CBD powder I ordered from Botany.bio, but was curious to try it. I'd never consumed CBD as a powder before.
Now I can't say the effects were mind blowing or game changing. However, the effects were definitely more noticeable than when I'd consumed other CBD products in the past: gummies, liquids, foods, etc. I found the CBD powder from Botany.bio to provide a much-stronger anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effect than any other CBD products I'd tried before. That's why I always like to try new things. You never know what might surprise you.
To be perfectly clear, I didn't experience any sort of nootropic or cognition-enhancing effect from the CBD powder. But that wasn't the point. The point was to order a couple of their products and make sure everything's legit. I can honestly say that, without question, Botany.bio delivered everything that they promised.
I'll definitely order from this company again. It's been a pleasure writing this Botany.bio review. Their products are excellent and reasonably priced. The free USPS First Class shipping was a nice touch and my package arrived in a timely fashion. Overall, my experience with Botany Biosciences was overwhelmingly positive. If you haven't already, go check out their website.
Conclusion
This concludes our Botany.bio review. I always enjoy writing reviews about companies that I genuinely like and personally use myself. This is one that I'll likely order from again and probably in the not-too-distant future.
