Sophrosyne Brain is Jonescientific's first product. The company is run by Daryl Rhys Jones, PhD, an accomplished neuroscientist. His LinkedIn profile boasts a number of esteemed positions, including work with the Mayo Clinic, one of America's top hospitals.
Since November 2018, Dr. Jones has been the CEO of Jonescientific. He is the brains behind Sophrosyne Brain, a simple-yet-effective nootropic blend.
Sophrosyne is an ancient Greek word that means “of sound mind” or “excellence of character.” Sophrosyne Brain combines four well-researched nootropics into one easy-to-use product.
Sophrosyne Brain Ingredients
Ashwagandha – An adaptogenic plant that has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress, improve mood, improve hormone levels, and to have several other benefits.
Lion's Mane – A mushroom known to improve several aspects of cognitive performance, including mood and anxiety levels.
Bacopa Monnieri – Another adaptogen which can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and improve overall cognition.
Curcumin – The main curcuminoid in turmeric, it can improve attention and both visual and verbal memory.
These four ingredients work together to compliment each other. They've all been extensively studied and shown to be both safe and effective.

I already had a good idea of what to expect before I even started this product because I've used all of its ingredients before. I'd never taken all four of them together at the same time, though.

For the first few days of taking Sophrosyne Brain, the effects seemed to increase a little bit each day. However, by day four or five, it was hard to notice any day-to-day difference after that. Of course, this doesn't mean that it wasn't working, just that I didn't notice it working any better than it already was.
This product is probably best suited for people looking to improve mood and reduce anxiety. It is non-stimulatory and does not contain caffeine. Don't expect laser-like focus like you'd get from something like Adderall or even modafinil. Sophrosyne Brain is much more subtle than that.
What you can expect is a modest-but-noticeable boost in mood and an equally-noticeable reduction in anxiety. Those two areas are where Sophrosyne Brain really shines. It does not contain tons of unnecessary ingredients like some other nootropic blends. It's just four well-studied nootropics in one easy-to-use product.
The only serious criticism that I have is that, as of right now, Sophrosyne Brain can only be purchased from the Jonescientific website. It's not sold on Amazon, eBay, or any other major retailers. But, aside from this, I think it's a good product. Sophrosyne Brain does have an Amazon page but, as of now, the product itself is unavailable.
People who are looking to improve mood and reduce anxiety should check out Sophrosyne Brain. If focus or wakefulness is what you're looking for, there are other products that would be better suited for your needs. But if you're looking for something to give you a nice mood lift and help you relax, Sophrosyne Brain is an excellent choice.
