I'm always looking for new nootropic vendors, especially ones based in the United States. Now, when I say new, I mean new to me. In this HR Supplements review, I'm going to tell you about the most recent company I've come across. But, while they're new to me, HR Supplements have been around for years.

This company has a proven track record, an awesome selection of high-quality products, and very reasonable prices. But before I get to my HR Supplements review, let's take a look at who they are.

What Is HR Supplements?

This is a company that manufacturers and sells a variety of health supplements, including a vast selection of nootropic capsules and powders. You might be wondering the same thing that I did initially: What does HR stand for? It stands for Hard Rhino. Though they seem to just go by HR Supplements now, originally the company was called Hard Rhino Supplements. HR Supplements is owned by Supplements Partners, LLC.

I was surprised to see that HR Supplements has been around even longer than the Nootropics Zone. The NZ was created in 2014 and Hard Rhino Supplements was already cranking out high-quality nootropics and other products at that time.

HR Supplements is located in Phoenix, AZ. They have a FDA-registered facility in Phoenix that manufactures a variety of supplements. In addition to the dozens and dozens of nootropics that HR Supplements offers, they also sell:

  • HR Supplements LogoSports Supplements
  • Vitamins
  • Minerals
  • Men's Health Supplements
  • General Wellness Products
  • And a lot more

This company has a really impressive selection of products. Some of them are available on Amazon and they all have lots of positive reviews. But the best place to check out all of their products is on the HR Supplements website. Let's take a look at this company's website now.

HR Supplements Website

The HR Supplements website is very easy to use. I especially like the way their products are organized. You can browse all their products at once, shop by category, or shop by goal. Here are the goals you can browse by:

  • Cognitive Health
  • Cardiovascular Support
  • EcommerceDigestive & liver Support
  • Energy & Performance
  • General Wellness
  • Hair, Skin, & Nails
  • Immune Support
  • Joint & Bone Health
  • Muscle Building
  • Sleep Health
  • Weight Management

This makes it super easy to find what you're looking for. If it's nootropics you're after, they have a nootropics category. Or you can shop by goal and click on Cognitive Health. Whatever you're looking for, you won't have any trouble finding it on the HR Supplements website.

Down at the bottom of the website you'll find lots of information about the company, their products, and their policies. One thing that I really like is that you can easily lookup the certificate of analysis (COA) for any of their products. A COA shows the results of a chemical analysis done on that particular supplement so you know exactly what's in whatever you buy. By clicking on Instant COA at the bottom of the HR Supplements website, you can immediately check out the COA for any of their products.

You won't have any trouble navigating the HR Supplements website. It's very straightforward and easy to use. Now let's take a look at their products and prices.

Products/Prices

HR Supplements offers over 100 different products. As of this writing, they currently have 145 products to choose from. Some products are offered in capsule form, some in powder form, and many in both. Here are just some of the nootropics you'll find on the HR Supplements website:

  • Adrafinil (capsules and powder)
  • HR Supplements Review 1Alpha-GPC (capsules and powder)
  • Aniracetam (capsules and powder)
  • Caffeine and L-Theanine (capsules)
  • Bacopa Monnieri (powder)
  • L-Theanine (capsules and powder)
  • Panax Ginseng (capsules)
  • Phenylpiracetam (capsules and powder)
  • Sulbutiamine (capsules and powder)

That's only a sample of the nootropic capsules and powders that HR Supplements offers. They have many more. In fact, I'd say they sell at least 80% of the nootropics we talk about here at the Nootropics Zone. That's more than any other single nootropic vendor.

All of HR Supplements' products are of the highest quality. Not only do they all have tons of great reviews, you can look up the COA for any given product at any time. I love to see that level of transparency in a supplement manufacturer.

While all the products on the HR Supplements website are manufactured at their Phoenix plant, the branding (labeling) varies by product type. For example, most of their nootropics are sold under the brand name Cognitive Compounds or Harvest Naturals. But they're all made by HR Supplements and each come with an easily accessible COA.

And HR Supplements' prices are very reasonable. Actually, I take that back. They're not reasonable: they're exceptional. Since HR Supplements manufactures and sells their products, they can offer them at much-lower prices than most of their competitors. Their prices are more than reasonable – they're great!

They offer a 20% discount to all military personnel, veterans, first responders, and licensed medical professionals. Now that you know all about this company, I can get to my HR Supplements review.

HR Supplements Review

I can't believe I haven't heard about this company sooner. Actually, I can believe it. It's because there are tons of supplement and nootropic companies out there with new ones popping up every day. With so many nootropic vendors to choose from, it's impossible to know about every single one of them. But I'm glad I discovered HR Supplements eventually. Between the quality and selection of products and their awesome prices, I'm very impressed by this company.

NAC CapsulesBefore writing this HR Supplements review, I placed an order from them as I always do before reviewing a company. Let me tell you, it was hard to decide what to buy! They really do have an amazing selection of products. After spending a long time browsing through all the different categories, I added two items to my cart: N-acetyl L-cysteine (NAC) capsules and creatine monohydrate powder.

NAC is a nootropic that I've written about here on the Nootropics Zone website. It's something that I like to have on hand and I was running low. Creatine, I haven't written about here, but I have for an old fitness website I used to write for. Maybe someday I will write an article about it for the NZ website, as a lot of people claim it has nootropic properties. But I've never noticed any cognition-enhancing effects from creatine myself. I use it for its benefits to physical fitness.

Ordering from the HR Supplements website was super easy. After adding those two items to my cart, I went to the checkout. I paid using a Visa credit card and chose the free shipping option. My order was placed on a Monday and the package arrived that Friday.

Everything was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. While both of the products I ordered were manufactured by HR Supplements in Phoenix, AZ, the branding on the labels was different. The NAC brand is Harvest Naturals and the creatine brand is Muscle Empire. This wasn't a surprise. I already knew this from the HR Supplements website. Even though all their products are manufactured at the same plant, the branding is different depending on the type of product.

For example, most of HR Supplements' nootropic products are sold under either the brand name Cognitive Compounds or Harvest Naturals. And most of their fitness and muscle-building supplements are sold under the brand name Muscle Empire. But they're all manufactured by HR Supplements.

One of the many things that I love about HR Supplements is that a certificate of analysis (COA) is easily available for all their products, regardless of branding. And when I say easily available, I mean easily available. On the back of both items that I ordered, there is a scannable QR code that makes it super easy to look up their COAs.

I still haven't opened the Muscle Empire creatine and I won't until I run out of the one I'm currently using. But the NAC I opened the day it arrived. Even though I still had a few NAC capsules left from a different brand, I was eager to try the Harvest Naturals caps I got from HR Supplements.

The effects of NAC are definitely noticeable to me. It reduces my anxiety and helps me to think clearer. I took 2 capsules of the Harvest Naturals NAC for a total of 1,000 milligrams. Sure enough, about an hour later I felt calmer and was able to get a ton of work done that day. There's no question about it: between the COA, the way the capsules looked, and the way they felt, it was pharmaceutical-grade N-acetyl L-cysteine.

It's been a pleasure writing this HR Supplements review. I was very happy with my order. I'll definitely order from them again in the future. They have an amazing selection of high-quality products, great prices, fast and free shipping, and an easy-to-navigate website. Whether you prefer your nootropics in capsule or powder form, odds are HR Supplements sells it. Great United-States-based company, great products. Highly recommended.
