What Is Rogue Energy?

Rogue Energy is a nootropic powder that comes in a variety of flavors. Created by Overpowered Labs, Rogue Energy just came out in 2017.

The thing that separates Rogue Energy from all the other nootropic blends out there is the price. A tub of Rogue Energy costs about $30 on Amazon and contains 30 servings. That's only $1 per serving, significantly less than most other nootropic blends on the market.

Another thing that makes Rogue Energy an attractive nootropic is that it comes in four different flavors: mango pineapple, pink lemonade, berry pomegranate, and blue raspberry. Most other nootropic blends only come in one flavor.

Rogue Energy is very easy to use. Simply mix one scoop (7.2 grams) with water and you've got yourself a tasty nootropic drink. It's great for being productive, whether in the gym, the office, or doing what you love.

Rogue Energy Ingredients

5 Vitamins – Rogue Energy contains the following vitamins: C, E, B3, B6, & B12. These vitamins are essential for energy production and help make the other ingredients work better.

L-Carnitine – This is an amino acid used to improve cognitive performance and boost mood.

L-Citrulline – Another amino acid that increases l-carnitine levels in the body.

Blue Raspberry Rogue EnergyTaurine – A common ingredient in energy drinks, taurine may improve exercise performance and reduce the side effects of caffeine.

Caffeine – A common stimulant used to increase wakefulness, improve mood, and increase focus.

Glucuronolactone – Another common energy drink ingredient.

N-Acetyl Tyrosine – An amino acid involved in dopamine and noradrenaline production.

L-Phenylalanine – A non-essential amino acid that the body can use to make dopamine and noradrenaline.

L-Theanine – Found in green tea, l-theanine can reduce anxiety and decreases the side effects of caffeine.

Choline Bitartrate – A common choline source that your body uses to make the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

Mucuna Pruriens – A nootropic plant that can increase focus and improve mood by increasing dopamine levels.

Bacopa Monnieri – An adaptogenic herb with a number of nootropic effects.

All of these ingredients work together synergistically to increase focus and motivation, improve mood, and decrease anxiety. Unfortunately, since Rogue Energy uses a proprietary blend, the exact dosage of each ingredient is not known. The only ingredient with the exact dosage listed is caffeine. Rogue Energy contains 175 mg of caffeine, about as much as a tall cup of coffee.

Rogue Energy Review

I tried Rogue Energy for four consecutive days. Each day I took one serving, which is one scoop. I tried all four different flavors and liked them all. My favorite was mango pineapple.

Rogue Energy is extremely easy to use. Just mix one scoop with a glass of water and drink. I found that the powder mixed well. It wasn't chunky like other products I've tried in the past.

About a half hour after I first tried Rogue Energy, I noticed a subtle increase in mood and focus – a calm sense of focus. I think this effect was probably due to the caffeine and l-theanine, something I've used many times before.

Rogue Energy ProductsFor the next few hours, I got a lot of work done. I was productive all morning long and my energy level stayed consistent throughout the afternoon. Normally, I start to notice a decrease in energy by mid-afternoon. After taking Rogue Energy, I stayed energized into the evening.

I didn't notice any kind of crash in the afternoon or evening. Caffeine, by itself, can cause a nasty crash a few hours after consuming it. The other ingredients in Rogue Energy helped to eliminate the crash.

The next three days, I experienced the same results. I took one scoop of Rogue Energy in the morning and felt productive and energized all day. It wasn't an intense feeling – in fact, it was barely noticeable. But I did get a lot done and remained in a good mood each day.

Some of the ingredients like bacopa and mucuna can take weeks for their full effects to be noticeable. Rogue Energy probably works best when taken daily for several weeks. Fortunately, the price is extremely reasonable.

Overall, I think Rogue Energy is a good product. It's reasonably priced, easy to use, and comes in a variety of delicious flavors. These things make it an attractive option, especially for anyone new to nootropics.
